Ethics and Sustainability

Our products are real and given that, we believe it’s deeply important to be transparent on their background.

Majority of our insects are sourced from independent breeders worldwide, living mostly full life cycles. They are otherwise sourced from insect farms overseas who raise them in conditions that mimic their natural habitat. We will only claim natural death when given complete transparency from our suppliers to honour our customers' values. We're actively working to promote industry-wide availability of naturally deceased specimens. We exclusively avoid working with wild caught insects as wild insect populations are rapidly declining.

Our bones, skulls come from foragers around australia who collect victims of roadkill, bones foraged from large private properties or other causes of death apart from purposeful euthanasia. 

Our snakes are supplied by independant taxidermists in asia who work on those that have been donated.

Our mission is to make sure not to disrupt the natural world and to pay tribute & honour the lives of the magnificent creatures we share the planet with.

 

We strive to utilise primarily recycled materials for our packaging, abstaining from plastics and non-biodegradable or non-recyclable materials. If plastics are found in the packaging, they originate from received shipments that are being reused rather than wasted. We recommend seeking opportunities to reuse or recycle the materials upon receival.

Our goal is to reduce our carbon footprint and minimise our impact on the planet and its wildlife.
